"Manjummel Boys" wouldn't exist without kamal haasan or "Guna." This is the movie's greatest triumph." The director then expressed gratitude to tamil Nadu residents for enjoying the movie. "The support from tamil Nadu is excellent, much more so than from Kerala. Although I have support back home in Kerala, the enthusiasm I receive from the theatres here is unlike anything else. I'm going to see it with everyone in attendance."
