More women, professionals vie for LS tickets in Telangana
The political climate in telangana is changing significantly as more professionals—women in particular—show a strong interest in electoral politics. While there is ongoing speculation about prominent figures from political dynasties running in telangana, such as rahul gandhi and priyanka gandhi Vadra, many fresh data-faces are entering the electoral fray.
There is fierce rivalry in congress since at least three physicians are eager to run. Drs. Bollepalli Krishna, Perumandla Ramakrishna, and Ramagalla Parameshwar are hoping to be elected to Congress. Along with other congress leaders, Kurakula Bharathi, a retired labor official, is another female candidate.
Addanki Dayakar is another leader under consideration in addition to these leaders. Dr. T Rajaiah, a different physician who served as the first trs Cabinet's deputy chief minister, may also join congress in an attempt to win the warangal seat.
Although Kondeti sridhar started as the only contender, he is now facing resistance from several prominent figures, including Kadiyam Kalyan. Those vying for the bjp nomination include retired police officer krishna Prasad, current police officers commissioner Gotte sudheer babu and ACP Pulla Shobhan Kumar, and educationist Jannu Paramjyothi, who owns Oasis Public School.
The Bhongir seat has seen the bjp nominate Dr. Bura Narsayya, a former MP. Several other experts, such as pharmacology specialist Ajmera Ramkishan, are also attempting to join the competition during the current hustings.
