Rakesh Tikait- Bandh is for farmers; highways won't be closed...

Leading farmer Rakesh Tikait stated that the Gramin Bharat Bandh on february 16 is a novel idea in which villages will cease operations. Tikait led the farmers' protest 2020 on Thursday. According to the leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait), workers will also be taking part in the strike, thus farmers will not be returning to their land and there will be no work related to agriculture.

This will display the number of people in our group. Rakesh Tikait stated, "In whatever way everyone can contribute, some rural shopkeepers indicated they would close their stores after lunch, while some said they would open their stores after lunch. In 2020, farmers protested against three farm policies that have since been abolished, spearheaded by the Bharatiya Kisan Union. They are in favour of the Gramin Bharat Bandh, which Samayukt Kisan Morcha called to highlight the needs of farmers, and are not involved in the current 'Chalo Dilli' protest.

What is Bharat Bandh Gramin? Will there be no impact on cities?

On Friday, Gramin Bharat Bandh will be held from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be no village market this week.

Farmers will participate in a nationwide chakka jam on major thoroughfares between 12 and 4 p.m.

On february 16, there won't be any agricultural or MNREGA labor.

On Friday, there won't be any vegetable or other crop sales or purchases.

Schools, banks, and government buildings will stay open, but the lack of transportation may cause annoyance to some.

The supply of vegetables and milk in cities may be impacted. Due to central trade unions' participation in the bandh, transportation will also be negatively impacted. Depending on whether the local union joins the bandh or not, state buses may be taken off the road.
