Telangana Hyderabad - Three injured as clashes erupt between student organisations during protest at EFLU

Clashes between student organizations during a demonstration on the english and Foreign Languages university (EFLU) campus on monday night resulted in three injuries. The EFLU students collectively organized a human chain inside the campus to protest against the alleged "chaos" created by ABVP in the GBM on february 9, while students of the ABVP EFLU unit staged a protest to resolve the issue of the university General Body Meeting (GBM) and schedule the students union elections.
 

The ABVP students said that a PWD student who was supporting ABVP was singled out by the SFI EFLU unit and the Fraternity Movement EFLU unit students. The ABVP EFLU section said that the student had been the victim of a serious physical attack with serious injuries that required emergency hospitalization. The EFLU unit of the Fraternity Movement said that ABVP students had physically assaulted its media convener, Rasal, and executive committee member, Aslin, for taking part in the demonstration.
 

Rasal asserted, "The police were present, but they did nothing." students said that the university health facility did not treat them fairly. The student groups made the decision to file complaints with the osmania university police Station about one another.
