Telangana - Group 1 applicants’ upper age limit increased to 46

SIBY JEYYA
A revanth Reddy, the chief minister of telangana, declared the state government's intention to raise the eligibility age for Group 1 candidates to 46 years old. Before now, the age range was 18 to 44. On Friday, february 9, during the telangana Assembly's budget session, he made the announcement.

Revanth responded to the BRS's criticism of the congress administration for not completing Group 1 appointments by february 1 by stating that "rules" were the reason the TSPSC cleaning took so long. Certain regulations have caused a delay in the TSPSC cleanup. Four of them lost their jobs, thus the opposition is talking about two lakh jobs. We are not the government that would use question papers sold at Xerox centers to fill positions. By putting our relatives in government roles, we won't sell the jobs," he said, aiming squarely at the BRS's leadership.

The young people have been anxiously awaiting positions in the police department, according to Revanth. "We will shortly fill 15,000 open positions in the police force. We'll also cover open positions at universities," he continued. The telangana State Public service Commission administers the Group 1 examinations in telangana (TSPSC).
