Former shiv sena corporator and son of an ex-MLA abhishek Goshalkar was shot on thursday in the Dahisar neighborhood of mumbai due to a personal disagreement. After being brought to Karuna Hospital in Borivali in a critical state, abhishek passed away there. The incident happened a few days after a bjp mla was seen on tape shooting at a leader of the Eknath Shinde faction inside an ulhasnagar police station, sparking concerns about the state of law and order in Maharashtra. abhishek was the son of Uddhav's party veteran Vinod Goshalkar. The mumbai Buildings Repairs and Reconstruction Board was chaired by him. The spouse of abhishek also held a corporator role.
The incident reportedly happened in the workplace of Mauris Noronha, also referred to as Mauris Bhai, who abhishek harbored some personal animosity for. They have since reconciled, though, and abhishek was apparently invited to an event at Mauris Noronha's office. The event was livestreamed on Facebook, and Mauris bhai allegedly shot Ghosalkar before shooting himself, according to the ANI report.According to uddhav Sena spokesperson anand Dubey, no one is secure in maharashtra under Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis.
