RJ Balaji, noted for his role in "Mookuthi Amman" starring Nayanthara, is presently working on his next film, "Singapore Salon." In a recent promotional interview, he freely addressed and criticized sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Animal.'
Balaji expressed his thoughts, saying, "I haven't watched 'Animal,' and I have no plans to do so. I can't handle watching packed theatre cheer sequences showing women's assault and harassment. The thought of people cheering for such stuff, especially sequences in which a lady is urged to lick her lover's shoe, makes me nervous about unwittingly adding comparable scenes into my own film."
Taapsee Pannu also commented on the film, saying, "Animal should not be compared to hollywood films like 'Gone Girl.'" Our target audience is distinct. people in hollywood do not replicate movie lines or haircuts, and they surely do not begin stalking women based on film depictions. "This is our reality in India."
Celebrity remarks like these are gaining traction and providing free exposure for the OTT launch of 'Animal,' which airs on january 26. The OTT release will contain an expanded version that adds 8 minutes to the original length of 3 hours and 21 minutes. Notably, the announcement highlights a new sequence starring the lead actress, rashmika mandanna, raising excitement for the film.
