Prolonged Car Seat Exposure Linked to Male Infertility.!
According to the latest findings, prolonged exposure to the hot seat in cars could adversely impact sperm cell production, leading to infertility. For optimal sperm production, testicles require a cooler environment than the rest of the male body. The heat generated by car seats, especially during long-distance travel, may contribute to a reduction in sperm cell count. This concern is further exacerbated by factors like extended periods of sitting in vehicles or on bikes, as well as wearing tight pants.
While warm seats offer comfort during winter, prolonged exposure to heat, especially during travel, has been linked to compromised sperm production. Dr. Hippocrates Sarris, a Reproductive Medicine Consultant and director of King's Fertility, emphadata-sizes the need for individuals attempting to conceive to safeguard their reproductive health, particularly during winter. Additionally, professor Alan Pacey of Manchester university highlights that wearing tight pants and extended periods of sitting in vehicles can also have a negative impact on sperm production.
