Three Capitals Done & Dusted For This Term!

SIBY JEYYA
The supreme court postponed all Amaravati-related litigation till April. The Bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Gupta announced that the arguments will be heard on the day set aside for non-miscellaneous business in April. The supreme court refused to suspend the High Court's earlier decision that amaravati is the state capital.

Mukul Rohatgi, a government lawyer, sought to argue that the state had full freedom to choose the location of the capital and that nothing in the ap Reorganisation Act required the state to have only one capital. However, the supreme court stressed that it cannot rule without extensive hearings. Previously, the administration promised before the high court that it would not relocate the capital or government offices until the disputes were resolved lawfully.

If the supreme court considers the cases in April, relocation to vishakapatnam will be impossible under jagan Mohan Reddy's term. If the government changes, amaravati will remain the capital, and jagan will be remembered for successfully delaying capital construction for five years in the name of a fake notion known as "Three Capitals."

In order to comfortably win the forthcoming assembly and lok sabha elections in andhra pradesh, the governing ysr congress party (YSRCP) supremo and chief minister Y S jagan Mohan reddy has recruited 27 new party coordinators and in-charges for various assembly and parliamentary constituencies. jagan designated 11 similar in-charges last month.
