ISRO To Write A "POEM" For The New Year In Space!!!

On Monday, january 1st, india will launch a 'POEM' into orbit together with its dedicated observatory to research black holes and neutron stars. The XPoSAT, or X-ray Polarimeter Satellite, will be the main payload of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle's 60th flight, which will be carried out by the "PSLV Orbital Experimental Module," or POEM. One of the ten experiments in the POEM, called 'Women Engineered Satellite' (WESAT) and developed by an institute in Thiruvananthapuram, would be the focal point.

This is POEM's third flight; it's easy to characterize it as an inexpensive, non-human indian space station. The chief of the indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), S Somanath, said that the organization was making money off of garbage in space.

He claimed that the PSLV's fourth stage was previously abandoned to burn up in space and produce space debris, but that it is currently being used as a resource and that high-value experiments are being carried out on it. In order to test and validate space technology, indian entrepreneurs are conducting some of the POEM experiments, while isro is using the spent fourth stage to conduct in-orbit scientific studies for a length of one to six months.

Student 'Satellite', Ecological Trial

A 'Women Engineered Satellite' (WESAT) from the LBS Institute of technology for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, is one of the ten experiments. Dr. Lizy Abraham, the project's chief investigator, worked hard to put the WESAT together. WESAT's student coordinator, Sheril Mariam Jose, stated, "This mission holds special significance as it marks the first student satellite from kerala and the first women-led, women-only satellite of India." Certain specialists have noted that referring to WESAT as a "satellite" is inaccurate, since it is just a "payload" carried aboard the POEM.
