Delhi's air quality sees slight improvement but still 'Very Poor'
The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMD) in New delhi forecasts moderate fog in the morning, with a minimum temperature of 12 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, with a very low chance of rain. An AQI of 0-50 is regarded acceptable, 51-100 fair, 101-200 moderate, 201-300 poor, 301-400 extremely poor, 401-450 severe, and over 450 severe-plus.
Following an improvement in air quality, the Commission for air Quality Management in the National capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) relaxed pollution limitations under stage-III GRAP measures across the National capital Region (NCR) on november 28. When the AQI reached hazardous levels on november 2, Stage-III GRAP actions were initiated.
Non-essential building activity were prohibited throughout the Delhi-NCR region as part of these restrictions. Furthermore, older, more polluting cars, notably BS III petrol and BS IV diesel four-wheelers, were prohibited in crucial areas like as delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and gautam Budh Nagar.
