According to three reports, at least four persons were killed in an Israeli hit on the town of Beit Yahoun in south lebanon on wednesday evening. Following the Oct. 7 incident in southern israel by the Palestinian organisation Hamas, violence along the data-border erupted. israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah, a Hamas ally, have exchanged missile fire amid escalating combat.
The Israeli military claimed in a statement that its fighter jets attacked Hezbollah facilities in lebanon, and that its troops and aircraft targeted two cells that shot at Israeli forces or attempted to launch rockets into Israel.
