A bug was allegedly discovered in the Mandi served at a restaurant in Guddimalkapur. A video of the event has also gone viral on social media.
GHMC takes action following the complaint
Following a user's complaint regarding the bug in Mandi at the hyderabad eatery, GHMC's Food Safety Officer investigated the premises and lifted samples. An inspection report was later filed for further action.
Although ghmc took steps after receiving the complaint, the user was not satisfied and wrote, “Now you will not update any action or any update about the complaint.”
Hygiene essential at Mandi, other restaurants in Hyderabad
Mandi has become a famous dish in hyderabad, and numerous restaurants are opening in the city solely to offer it. However, some of them allegedly fall short of hygienic standards. A cockroach was recently discovered in biryani served at a restaurant in Hyderabad. Despite the GHMC's attempts to guarantee that all eateries in hyderabad adhere to sanitation standards, similar complaints continue to appear.
Several fall sick after eating Mandi
Meanwhile, on Thursday, november 16, numerous people had health problems after eating mandi at a nearby hotel in Mir Alam Mandi.
According to accounts, a few others took goods to their houses as well. About 45 people, including 12 members of the same family, complained of nausea and other health problems.
Around 40 individuals, including children, were taken to municipal hospitals. "People who have been admitted to various hospitals have been receiving treatment since Friday," a family member of a sick individual stated.
