On the occasions of onam and Raksha Bandhan, the Modi administration has given a significant gift. Anurag Thakur, a Union minister, announced that the price of a gas cylinder would be reduced by Rs 200 for all consumers after the cabinet meeting on Tuesday, 29 August.

For onam and Raksha Bandhan, it has been decided to lower the price of the cylinder by Rs 200. This applies to everyone. For the sisters, it is a significant gift. According to Anurag Thakur, PM Modi has given gifts to thousands of sisters. They will be given free gas connections through the Ujjwala Gas Yojana for 75 lakh sisters. will not be required to pay even one rupee. Free use of the pipe, stove and cylinder will be provided. While petrol prices have gone up everywhere, they have less of an impact in India.

200 people already received a subsidy as part of the Ujjwala programme, and 200 more will starting today. In other words, those who are covered by the Ujjwala scheme will now receive a 400 rupee subsidy. Gas cylinder connections are present in 33 crore people. Additionally, 75 lakh new connections will be made at the same time. The price is 7680 crores.

Union minister Anurag Thakur stated that the cabinet had recognised the scientists' historic accomplishment with regard to Chandrayaan-3. He declared that the 23rd of august would become National Space Day each year. According to him, the Chandrayaan-3 mission's success represents not only a triumph for the indian space research organisation (ISRP), but also a step forward for both india and the rest of the world.
