Chiranjeevi was born on august 22, 1955, to Constable konidela venkata rao and anjanadevi in Mogalthur village of west godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. His real name is konidela shiva Shankara Varaprasad. His father, a constable, was often transferred by profession, so he spent his entire childhood with his grandparents in his native village. He did his schooling in Nidadavolu, Gurajala, Bapatla, Ponnur, Mangalagiri, and Mogalthur. Ongole C.S.R. He studied Intermediate at Sharma College. He completed his degree in Commerce from Sri YN College, Narsapuram. Interested in acting since childhood, chiru joined the madras film institute in 1976 to learn acting.  chiranjeevi started his film career with the movie 'Punadirallu'. But the film 'Pranam Kharidu' (1978) was released earlier. That is what introduced him to the telugu audience for the first time. The first movie 'Punadirallu' was released in 1979. The movie 'Mana Vuri Pandavulu' brought him good recognition as an actor. After that, he acted in negative shades in many films.
In 1990, chiranjeevi experimented with socio-fantasy films like 'Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari' and achieved a blockbuster hit. In 1991, the films 'Gang Leader' and 'Rowdy Alludu' received the biggest blockbuster and made him a 'megastar' as the 'Boss of telugu Cinema'. remake movies like 'Pratibandh' and 'Aaj Ka Goonda Raj' brought him fame in hindi as well. The movie Gharana Mogudu' (1992) created the record of being the first telugu film to gross more than ₹10 crore at the box office. He took the highest remuneration of ₹1.25 crore for the film 'Apadbandhavudu'. Some national magazines printed Chiranjeevi's cover page as the highest-paid actor in india at that time. 'Bigger Than Bachchan' and 'The New Money Machine'.  In 1999, he was taken to the sets of the movie 'The Return of the thief of Baghdad' in hollywood production.
