Stone-pelting incidents on trains continue...?
On Wednesday, some miscreants broke one of the windows of the moving Vande Bharat Express in another incidence of stone-throwing on trains in Kerala. The Vande Bharat Express from Kasaragod to thiruvananthapuram received the same treatment three days after two trains in the northern Kannur district were stoned. This led to damage to one of the train's windows and raised questions about the safety of rail travel. According to railway officials, the incident took place between 4 and 4.30 PM close to Vatakara. According to officials, the event broke a window in the train's C-8 coach."The incident didn't result in any injuries. They claimed that the glass had been broken from the outside. The windowpane was severely shattered and taped up from the outside as depicted in tv stations' visual coverage of the occurrence. The Mangaluru-Chennai Superfast Express and Netravati Express were attacked with rocks on sunday evening when they arrived in a location between Kannur South and Valapattanam in the district. According to officials, the AC coaches on both trains had glass pane damage. After prime minister Narendra Modi opened the train in kerala in april of this year, there were a few incidents of stone-throwing against the Vande Bharat Express that were previously also recorded from the state.
