Recently, kangana criticized Karan's self-directed film rocky Aur rani Ki prem Kahani. This is a movie based on a tv serial. kangana criticized that karan chose the same story repeated again and again. Is a huge budget of 250 crores required for a tv serial like this? She also threw a punch. 

Kangana suggested that new directors should come to the industry to bring a revolution for karan Johar's retirement. Commenting on rocky Aur Rani, prem Kahani is the worst movie, kangana said director karan johar should be ashamed of himself for copying his nineties movies. kangana, who targeted the hero Ranveer as Nepo gang, also suggested that he should be seen in the garb of a woman.
