Adipurush Effect! OMG 2 on Hold by Censor Board?

OMG 2, starring akshay kumar, will debut in August. A recent report, however, asserts that the movie has run into trouble with the Central Board of Certification (CBFC). OMG 2 has reportedly been submitted to the Revision Committee for a thorough examination, contrary to reports that the Censor Board has placed the release of the movie on hold. The change occurs not long after Adipurush's discussions caused controversy.

'Preemptive actions' were reportedly taken by the Censor Board in sending the movie to the revision committee. The board doesn't want the backlash that developed after Adipurush's release last month to happen again. Adipurush received criticism from the general public because the movie contained a few contentious passages. After the movie's release, the writers were forced to modify the dialogue, and dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir apologised.

A source connected to the project told ETimes that so far, "there is no issue," even though akshay kumar and director Amit Rai have not yet responded to the reports. "The censor board process is on," they continued. According to the report, the Censor Board recently watched the movie and suggested that it be sent to the Revision Committee.

Akshay will be seen as Lord Shiva, as revealed in the OMG 2 trailer, which was published earlier this week. Dreadlocks were observed on the actor. pankaj tripathi doubles as a devotee in the movie while Akshay portrays a god. yami gautam and Arun Govil are also featured in the movie. The august 11 release date for OMG 2, the follow-up to the 2012 film OMG starring akshay kumar and Paresh Rawal, confirms that it will compete with Sunny Deol's Gadar 2. Jailer, which stars Rajinikanth, and OMG 2 are in competition.
