The health officials have been instructed to monitor the cases of fever in the data-border districts like Coimbatore, Theni and Kanyakumari and provide information. It has been ordered to carry out separate awareness activities in all places like houses, schools, parks, colleges and public places. 18 thousand people have been engaged in this work. Medical camps will be conducted where necessary. Adequate chlorine distribution in drinking water and personal hygiene have been advised.
