The film kerala Story, which was released amid strong protests, was banned in states including tamil Nadu and West Bengal, but the film box office collected more than Rs.200 crores at the office and set a record. After the success of kerala Story, the director Sudipto Sen announced his next film. Accordingly, his next film is titled Sahara Sri. It is a biopic film.
 'The kerala Story'  Sudipto Sen is going to direct this film based on the life of Subrata Roy who is the founder of Sahara india Parwar. The film is jointly produced by legend Studios and also the famous Penn Studios. It has been announced that it is going to be made as a Pan india film in various languages like tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Telugu.
What surprised the fans when they saw the poster of this film is that AR rahman is going to compose the music for it. The question raised by the fans is how AR Rahman, who avoids working with controversial directors, allied with the director of The kerala Story. There has been opposition to AR Rahman's music for this film and netizens are trolling AR rahman for doing this for money.
