Antilia bomb scare case: Ex-cop Pradeep Sharma gets interim bail
pradeep sharma, a former mumbai police officer and encounter expert who was detained in connection with the Antilia bomb scare case, was given a three-week interim release by the supreme court on monday due to the condition of his sick wife. Sharma said in his appeal to the supreme court that his wife's health was rapidly worsening and that she urgently required surgery.

Sharma was detained in june 2021 as a result of confessions made by other defendants referencing him and technological data indicating his potential involvement in the murder and terrorism case. Sharma claimed not to have committed any wrongdoing and claimed to be a "victim of police rivalry" in prior court testimony. Sharma also entered a plea of innocence in the case.
