Especially in the audio launch of his films, he criticized politics many times and talked about some politicians in a sensational way. Although Vijay has not started a political party till now, he has been indirectly announcing that he is seriously serious about starting a political party soon. As a preview of this, in last year's urban local government elections... without any alliance with any party, members of the Vijay People's Movement contested for the posts of panchayat council president and village panchayat ward members in 169 seats. Out of these 13 people were selected without competition and 102 people competed and won. It is also noteworthy that Vijay personally met and congratulated the successful representatives.
