Bomb Cyclone: State of emergency in California..!?
New Year's Day in America is off to a sad start. Bomb Cyclone has declared a state of emergency in California. Acknowledging the severity of the situation, california Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency for 'containment and recovery efforts'. A day after forecasters warned that california could data-face 'brutal' weather conditions, Bomb Cyclone hit the western US state on Wednesday.
Residents are being given thousands of sandbags to keep them safe in case of flooding. The 3 days of continuous snowfall have raised concerns that the situation will continue as the public has suffered greatly. Several people have been reported killed by the weather in Vermont, Ohio, Missouri, Wisconsin, Kansas, and Colorado. In South Florida, animal conditions have worsened as temperatures have plummeted, and freezing to death has increased. The situation is worse in the American West. The temperature here reached -50 degrees.
