A 33-year-old man from visakha recently went to Dubai. The person stayed there for a few days and returned to Visakhapatnam on 15th of this month. During this process, his family members took him to a private hospital as he developed fever. Doctors conducted an RT PCR test on him on 16th of this month and it was found to be positive. The samples were sent to CCMB. It seems that he has been diagnosed with Omrikon variant.
Currently the doctors have quarantined the person. With this, the fear of a new variant of Corona has started in Visakhapatnam. While till yesterday there were zero number of corona cases, one or two new cases came to light yesterday. Doctors say that this new type of variant is the only one. Every day many tourists come from Visakhapatnam to other states. It is against this backdrop that the new variants of Corona have started in Visakhapatnam. In this background, the government is also taking preventive measures against Corona.
