Dhamaka has a solid running time of 138 minutes and the
movie itself begins with a twist and we have a flashback for Sachin Khedkar with another twist. Then the
movie follows routine
telugu template with opening song and the female lead Sreelela being introduced in a cutest way. Some more characters are introduced and we have the vintage double confusion comedy.
Comedy scenes between
ravi Teja and
rao ramesh are just like old wine in a new bottle.
mass number Dandakadiyal with energetic
dance moves is happening. Sreeleela's energy is impressive. Just before intermission we have another twist to the storyline. The first half of Dhamaka is routine, providing
mass entertainment that follows a tired formula and double-checking all the things that have previously worked. a fancy
business environment, a perplexing
comedy, etc.
The outcome of the second half must be seen. Post Intermission,
ravi Teja starts his mind game with Jayaram. It's time for the energetic
mass Maharaja song. Then as usual, we have
comedy scenes taking over which seems to be a forced one now. Then comes another fast paced song Jinthaka from the lead pair.
ravi Teja turns on action mode and engaging fight sequences happen and it all ends on a happy note. A traditional craker is dhamaka. The template-driven commercial entertainer offers nothing fresh.
Even yet, ravi Teja's enthusiasm, allure, and occasional punches help to somewhat redeem the film and, with the correct expectations, make it watchable.
