TRS may take more time to become BRS
The trs president unexpectedly proposed changing the party's name to Bharat Rashtra Samithi in a public notice published in english newspapers on Monday. According to the notification published under the trs name, the party's general body meeting had decided to alter the name of the organisation, which has its headquarters in hyderabad at the telangana Bhavan on Road No. 10 in Banjara Hills, to Bharat Rashtra Samithi. As a result, within 30 days after the public notice's publication, anyone who objects to the proposed new name may do so in writing, along with a justification, to the Secretary (Political Party), election commission of India, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road in New Delhi.
It is now clear from the public notice that the entire process will take at least a month. After a month, the ec will examine any challenges to changing TRS' name to BRS at its own pace before making a decision. The ec will be occupied in the interim with the assembly elections in gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, respectively. Therefore, it might not decide on BRS right away. It will most likely be a few more months before a call is made. The party will only be referred to as trs up to that point!
