Major accident in tanzania, a passenger plane crashed in Lake victoria during the landing

A passenger plane crashed into Lake victoria while attempting to land in tanzania on Sunday. It is not yet known how much damage was done in the accident and how many passengers were on board the plane.


A major accident happened in tanzania on Sunday. A Precision air passenger plane has crashed in Lake Victoria, Tanzania. The tanzania Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) said on sunday that the plane crashed into Lake victoria while trying to land at an airport in Bukoba. Full details about the accident have not been revealed yet. Information about how many people were on the plane and their condition is yet to come.

TBC said 15 people had been rescued so far, but there was no word yet on how many people were killed and how many people were on the plane. TBC reported that the plane took off from the capital Dar es Salaam and crashed into Lake victoria during landing this morning due to storms and heavy rain.

Bukoba airport is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa. Relief work has been started after the accident. Every effort is being made to rescue the other people trapped in the plane. Precision air is the largest privately owned airline in Tanzania.
