The central government has essentially assumed control of the developments in the constituency to checkmate the telangana rashtra samithi, which is an evident indicator that the bharatiya janata party is putting everything on the line to win the by-election for the Munugode assembly seat. The central government has despatched a sizable number of paramilitary soldiers to the constituency to control the trs, apparently realising that local officials, including the police, are favouring the trs and bothering solely the bjp leaders and cadre.

The central paramilitary forces arrived on the spot and have been conducting checks at every stage for the past two days amid accusations that the local police officers are targeting the bjp leaders in the distribution of cash and gifts to voters. The Central forces are concentrating on the trs leaders' distribution of cash and alcohol. The paramilitary forces have also set up shop on the periphery and barred all the entry gates into Munugode since there are allegations that significant amounts of money are changing hands in the other villages rather than in Munugode.

In yet another shocking development, the election commission of india officials fired Munugode returning officer Jagannath Rao on thursday for making an arbitrary decision to revoke the "road roller" insignia assigned to Yuga tulasi Party candidate Y shiva Kumar. The ec asked the returning officer to explain why he had to annul the symbol before giving shiva Kumar his symbol back. The trs, which claimed that the road roller sign resembled a car and may confuse voters, apparently asked the returning officer to make the choice. According to shiva Kumar, the returning officer cancelled the symbol that had already been assigned to him in a plot involving TRS.
