Ponniyin Selvan box office - NO SIGNS OF SLOWING DOWN

Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 by director Mani Ratnam is now enjoying a fantastic run in theatres all over the world. The movie has been playing in theatres for 19 days and is still going strong. Many theatres are eager to show ponniyin selvan despite the new diwali movies, Sivakarthikeyan's prince and Karthi's Sardar, according to trade reports. The historical movie is edging closer to the Rs 475 threshold globally and is probably going to cross it in a few days.
On september 30, five languages of ponniyin selvan were released in theatres. The entire cast and crew travelled throughout india to promote the movie in different languages. Trade analysts predict that ponniyin selvan would likely surpass the Rs 475-crore threshold next week. Even after prince and Sardar's debut, many theatres will still show the movie even though the box office has decreased a little.
Ramesh Bala, a trade analyst, noted that ponniyin selvan has joined the list of kollywood movies with a $15 million or higher international gross. The remaining four films on the list are Enthiran, starring Rajinikanth, Kabali, 2.0, and Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan. ponniyin selvan, a historical fiction play directed by Mani Ratnam, is based on the best-selling book of the same name by kalki Krishnamurthy. The supporting cast included Prakash Raj, Jayaram, aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, and Parthiban. aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Karthi, and jayam ravi played the key roles.
