Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan (JP), a former IAS official and the founder of the Lok Satta Party, is widely regarded as an intelligent and honourable man. Despite the fact that he is not a well-known person, people respect his opinions. JP had lofty political aspirations, but aside from serving one term as an mla from the kukatpally assembly district during the united andhra pradesh rule, he was an ineffective politician.

Because of his blatant opposition to the creation of the telangana state, he was humiliated by telangana campaigners. Additionally, he lost decisively in the lok sabha elections after running from the malkajgiri assembly district. JP, however, is respected by a wide range of people. He has now demonstrated that he is not only a poor politician, but also a person who lacks consistency in his thinking and vision on any given issue.

On Sunday, JP harshly criticised the Y S jagan Mohan reddy administration for its obstinate choice to create three capitals for Andhra Pradesh. amaravati must continue to be the only capital of the state, he insisted, and no other government has the authority to alter it at the earliest.
