Rs 18K crore contract takes centre stage in T'gana
Rajagopal reddy acknowledged that his infrastructure company won a Rs 18,000 contract in a bid during an interview with a telugu station. He has received criticism from the trs and congress for forcing Munugode to run in a by-election in order to fulfil the contract. If the central government contributes Rs 18,000 crore for the development of the constituency and nalgonda district, the ruling party has even offered to withdraw from the race.
According to trs working president K.T. Rama Rao, the party will withdraw its candidate if the BJP-led federal government steps up and offers an amount equal to the contract value awarded to Rajagopal reddy for the development of Munugode. ktr stated that in his capacity as acting party president, he is committed to energy minister Jagadish Reddy's promise that the trs will withdraw its candidate if the Centre provides Rs 18,000 crore for the development of Nalgonda. He claimed that the bjp was attempting to purchase Munugode residents as a commodity by purchasing a contractor. He reaffirmed the claim that Rajagopal reddy had vowed to spend Rs 500 crore on the by-election, as he had previously told the bjp leadership.
