There was a lot of uproar in chandigarh university of punjab on saturday night. Hundreds of girls of the university came out on the protest and raised slogans of 'We Want Justice' demanding justice. The girls allege that while taking a bath, videos of about 60 girls have been made viral on social media. After the video went viral, 8 girls tried to kill themselves. Regarding this matter, the girls allege that the university administration is trying to suppress the matter.

WhatsApp messages of these girls are also viral on social media in which they have spoken of giving their lives. The girls who attempted suicide have been admitted to the hospital. According to the report, a girl from the university made the video and sent it to many of her friends including her boyfriend. 


Girls clashed with police

Angry girls created a ruckus on the campus late saturday night after a serious incident of making a video which came to the fore. The police also reached the news of the uproar in the campus but the girl students also got angry on the police. The agitated girl students also vandalized the vehicles fiercely. The police has taken the girl who made the video into custody.

According to the report, the girls who tried to kill themselves saw their video that went viral on social media. The girls who tried to kill themselves have been admitted to the hospital after their condition deteriorated. The families of these girls have also been informed and called.

In the initial investigation, it has been found that this girl was making videos of girl students studying with her for a long time. Now the friends living in shimla to whom she has sent the videos are also being traced. The girls allege that the university administration has tried to suppress the matter instead of taking action.
