Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu Review - STR-ARR-GVM Trio delivers a BIG BLOCKBUSTER
This is what happens when mistakes are rectified and the creators come out of their comfort zone. gautam Menon has underplayed cleverly and has delivered a masterpiece after a long hiatus. He always gives his best when he joins hands with STR and VTK is no exception. The STR-ARR-GVM trio has given a blockbuster for 2022. The plot is quite simple as an underdog transforms into a Don and he data-faces betrayal and loss. The path traveled has been seen several times. gautam Menon has even placed Kamal Haasan's "Naayagan" reference towards the climax.
STR is always in a different zone when he puts effort and shows interest in work. He lived as 'Muthu' and this character will be remembered forever. siddhi idnani is gorgeous and her romantic track is also good. Appukutty has got some good screenspace after a long time and he has utilized it. ARR is literally the soul of the movie. 'Markumaa Nenjam' and background score literally teleports us to a parallel world. Thamarai's lyrics also deserves a special mention. Action sequences are realistic and credits to stunt choreographer Lee Whittaker. The set design also was realistic portraying Mumbai.
Overall, A first-rated Output and a winner all the way!
