Donald Trump in new troubles?
The federal government has subsequently discovered more than 300 sensitive documents that the former President held at his florida residence, Mar-a-Lago, according to a New York Times story. The data show three sets of documents that have recently been found by federal officials. The National Archives received 150 or so classified documents in January, a sizable number that made officials there worry that trump might have hidden more sensitive information behind the walls of the club.
Before they were turned over, trump reportedly looked through those crates himself in late 2021. Later, in June, representatives from the Justice Department visited the florida residence with a subpoena seeking any new secret information. But after looking over security footage and learning details from conversations with Trump's advisors, they came to the conclusion that there were still more documents that hadn't been disclosed.
