Macherla failed due to lots of Minus points
While the humour in the first half is superb, it drags on pointlessly. During this time, the filmmaker strives to fill the scenes with comedy and songs without revealing the plot. The film's second half is where things go horribly wrong. The audience becomes bored with the predictable cat and mouse game as the story moves to Macherla. Scenes lack any freshness and are entirely predictable.
There are no surprises and the conflict is straightforward. As an IAS officer, Nithiin goes overboard in several areas, which makes the second half seem a little strange. Despite some memorable scenes, the writing is unoriginal, and the movie falls flat as an entertainment. The movie's production qualities are fairly high. The mass moments and the vizag images have been well-represented. Mahati Sagar's music is one of the movie's standout features. In every bout, his BGM was excellent. The dialogue and editing were both good.
