Box Office - Macherla Niyojakavargam FAILS Big time
The movie despite making 10 Crores at box office on Day 1 has failed miserably due to poor word of mouth and has now fallen apart and the movie has recovered only 25% so far. IAS officer Siddhu (Nithiin) is awaiting assignment to AP. Meanwhile, he develops feelings for Swathi (Krithi Shetty), a macherla native who is at odds with Rajappa (Samuthirakani). When siddhu is posted to macherla, things start to get heated. What relationship does swathi have with Rajappa? How did siddhu intervene and resolve the situation? The rest of the plot is made up of that.
Nithin switches things up from his typical romantic comedies and tries an outright mass movie for the first time. He carries himself well in the crowd scenes and has a decent appearance. His demeanour and manner of speaking fit the tone of the movie. Despite having a supporting part and little opportunity to shine, catherine tresa is competent.
In the first half, vennela kishore performs well. Although his ego-based demeanour is overdone in some parts, it still looks fantastic. In their respective roles, rajendra prasad and murali Sharma do about alright. anjali is a popular favourite and sparkles in a particular song. Krithi Shetty excels in her role and makes the most of her constraints. samuthirakani plays the major antagonist, and he does a good job. The mass clashes have been thoughtfully designed, especially the Jatara sequence.
