Karthikeya 2 takes too many cinematic liberties
The editing could have used more precision. The dialogue writing accomplishes the goal. The visual effects work well enough. The lavish appearance of the film is the result of significant investment by the producers. The 2014 publication of Chandoo Mondeti's "Karthikeya" startled many with its concept and compelling narration. It was a suspenseful thriller with all kinds of commercial aspects. Content and storytelling in the first section are plentiful.
The second instalment of the series doesn't discuss the prior one and features a fresh environment and purpose for the lead character. karthik, the same protagonist from the first chapter, rejects religion and god in favour of science. The movie has lots of flaws and has taken several cinematic liberties as well and in the end, audiences are being taken for granted.
