Malayankunju box office collection sees slow growth
Malayankunju's box office take didn't have a strong start. On the day of its release, it brought in a total of almost Rs 1.50 crore. The survival story is anticipated to perform well in theatres this weekend, despite a poor start at the box office. However, it doesn't appear to be the case. The film starring Fahadh Faasil has reportedly surpassed the Rs 3-crore mark at the box office, according to industry experts. Compared to its opening day, Malayankunju performed better on its second day in theatres. The figures are still not particularly spectacular. On Saturday, July 23, Malayankunju had a total malayalam occupancy of 35.79%.
The movie Malayankunju, which debutante Shajimon prabhakar is directing, is made by Fahadh's father Faasil. Mahesh Narayanan, the director of C U Soon, was also hired by AR rahman to compose the film's script and to shoot it. The film's female lead was Rajisha Vijayan. Malayankunju is a thriller about survival. Indrans, Jaffar Idukki, and deepak Parambol are also featured in supporting parts. The main plot of the movie is based on a genuine landslide that occurred in Kerala's highlands and caused numerous individuals to lose their lives, homes, and relatives.
