Rebel MP booked for assaulting Andhra cop in Hyd

Raghurama krishna Raju, a renegade member of the congress ysr congress Party, which is in power in andhra pradesh, was charged by Cyberabad police on tuesday with assaulting a police officer. A case was opened at the Gachibowli police station against the mp and his son Bharat for allegedly beating up the cop late on Monday, according to a complaint made by a constable with the intelligence division of the andhra pradesh police. In the First Information Report, Shastri, an ASI and CRPF constable, was also identified as the MP's personal assistant (FIR). Constable Farooq Basha said that while performing his professional responsibilities, he was attacked. He claimed that he spent three hours in the MP's home in violation of the law.
Raju was one of five people who attacked the officer, according to the police. He claimed that despite telling them that he is an intelligence constable, they forcibly took him into their car. The complainant claimed that his pocketbook and identity card had been stolen, and that he had also been assaulted and hit with sticks by the mp and others. Raju also complained about the Andhra police officer. police stated that they were investigating.
The mp also demanded swift action be taken against those who conducted recee at his home in a letter to telangana chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao. He claimed that on Monday, six individuals performed a reconnaissance at his home. The mp informed the chief minister in a letter that he had been given CRPF security due to the danger to his life. The CRPF men pursued the people doing the reconnaissance and arrested one of them, while the others managed to escape in a car.
