COVID restrictions are Back in Maharashtra
Apart from the mask requirement, the maharashtra government has issued additional comprehensive rules today, mandating SARI (Severe Acute Respiratory Infections) and fever surveillance. If people exhibit apparent symptoms, they should be tested for Covid-19. Social distancing, mask use, and sanitization must be communicated to the elderly on a regular basis.
If Covid instances continue to rise, vulnerable people must be informed about the risks they may data-face. Appropriate behaviour is required at all times. Around 1100 cases were reported in maharashtra on june 1, the highest number since february 24. We need to wait and see if other states are also bringing in the restrictions and closing the doors or not.
