‘I’d Think Twice Before Doing Remakes in The Future’
kiara advani has only appeared in two telugu films and has yet to prove her versatility in Tollywood. She will next be featured in RC15, however the actress is well-known in bollywood and has a busy schedule. kiara recently stated in one of her interviews that she will reconsider doing remakes in the future. She has already appeared in remakes such as Kabir Singh.
Kiara now believes that she should reconsider signing remake deals because most of the films are available to view on OTT platforms. She was also asked if there will be fewer hindi remakes of successful South films due to the success of the dubbed versions of the originals. "I don't agree with Bollywood's content preference for the south," kiara stated. If a little, gem-like film is done in a specific regional language, it has the potential to reach a larger audience."
Because hindi is a widely spoken language in our country, a good regional film, according to the actress, can be reproduced for a bigger audience to see. kiara admits that she may want to reconsider creating a direct reproduction of a film, but she is open to doing an adaption instead. "I did kabir singh before OTT got very popular," she explains. Of course, I'd do kabir singh with my eyes closed even today, but if it's available on an OTT platform, I'd think twice about doing a remake because I don't think I'd be able to watch it."
