Public Exams begin Tomorrow - All arrangements done
Preparations are in full swing for the Plus 2 general election, which begins on the 5th. On sunday, the question paper packs arrived in the backup centres set up in the various districts. The Plus 2 general test in tamil Nadu and pondicherry will commence on May 5, the Plus 1 general examination on May 10, and the Class 10 general examination on May 6. Exams for students in Plus 1 and 2 began on april 25 and ended yesterday. The Plus 2 exam is being taken by 8 lakh 37,317 students, the Plus 1 general exam is being taken by 8 lakh 83,884 students, and the Class 10 general exam is being taken by 9 lakh 56,474 students.
The State Examinations Department is busy preparing for the Plus 2 general test, which is set to commence. On sunday night, the exam papers were transported from chennai in separate cars with police protection to salvage facilities established up in the various regions. Armed police officers have been stationed on the premises 24 hours a day.
Meanwhile, at a number of schools across tamil Nadu, the duty of writing student records in school examination centre examination halls took place.
