Intimacy in Massage centers - HC dismisses and says Okay!

The chennai high court has dismissed a petition seeking to have a lawsuit against a massage centre sex worker dismissed. The Willow Spa massage parlour in Anna nagar, chennai, was raided by Anna nagar police after a complaint that a sex worker was working inside. Four persons were charged, including the owner, hema Juvalini. hema Juvalini filed a motion at the chennai high court to have the lawsuit dismissed. The high court then issued an interim injunction barring the police from conducting any further investigations.

The police have filed a petition to have the temporary order imposed in january 2021 overturned. The petitioner did not contest the charge against him in the ruling issued by Judge jagadish Chandra hearing the case, except that he blamed the police and the tables turned upside down.
The judge also acknowledged Hassan Mohammed Jinnah, the state's chief criminal prosecutor, who contended that the 1987 government decree also provided local police officers the authority to investigate such charges, and that the police inspector's probe was not unconstitutional. The judge dismissed hema Juvalini's plea, stating that the matter could not be dismissed because the trial was still ongoing.
