No Sympathy for KGF-2 from AP Government

SIBY JEYYA
kgf Chapter: 2 is due to hit theatres on april 14th, making it one of the year's most anticipated films. This film, directed by Prashanth Neel, stars yash in the lead role. kgf 2 is now available all around the world. The film is being released in a number of locations around telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, the ap ticket rates issue is causing concern among kgf decision-makers.
It is previously known that the government of andhra pradesh will raise ticket prices only for films with a budget of Rs. 100 crores and at least 20% of the filming taking place in the state. Although kgf meets the first requirement, it falls short of the second because 20% of the movie was not filmed in Andhra Pradesh. Despite failing to meet the second requirement, the andhra pradesh government granted an exemption to the recent works radhe shyam and RRR.
As a result, the producers of kgf are hopeful that the government will sympathise with them and grant them a similar exclusion for their picture. As of now, the ticket booking in ap will be opened with no special hikes and this will definitely affect the movie's BO prospects.
