Once again Vijay take Telugu Audience for granted and ignores
Thalapathy Beast, Vijay's forthcoming flick, will be released internationally on april 13th. Nelson directed the film, which will be released in multiple languages in india alone. In the recent several years, Vijay has gained a lot of popularity in the telugu states. In both telangana and Andhra Pradesh, his movies Adirinddi, Sarkaar, Whistle, and master had strong debuts. Even Beast is expected to have a big debut here.
However, it is troubling that Vijay is unconcerned with telugu people, despite their devotion for him. Other language heroes usually market their films heavily in telugu states during the release window. Vijay, on the other hand, is not interested in promoting his movie in this country. He hasn't attended any of his movie events in hyderabad in the recent few years. Even though filmmaker Nelson, actress pooja hegde, and composer Anirudh promoted Beast in telangana, Vijay did not go.
In Chennai, our idols NTR, Raam Charan, and allu arjun marketed their flicks rrr and pushpa vigorously. Vijay, on the other hand, is taking telugu fans for a ride and isn't interested in promoting his films here. We'll have to wait and see how long he can keep this attitude in telugu cinema.
