A sudden failure has occurred in the plane flying from delhi to Doha. As a result, the flight had to make an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan. About 283 passengers were on board this plane. Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson Saifur Rehman has confirmed about this landing. He said qatar Airways flight QR-579 made a safe landing at Karachi's Jinnah international Airport. Within a few hours, all the 283 passengers were taken to Doha on an alternate flight sent by the airline.
Pakistan has said in its official statement that qatar Airways QR-579 bound for Doha took off from New delhi at 3.20 am and made an emergency landing in Karachi at around 5.30 am. rahman said the pilot declared an emergency after smoke was detected in the aircraft's cargo hold. He said the crew and passengers all disembarked and were taken to airport lounges and emergency services were provided at Jinnah international Airport.
At the same time, qatar Airline has said that the passengers are safe. The company has said that due to this inconvenience caused to the passengers, all emergency facilities have been provided to them. The problems with the aircraft are being investigated.
