An IAS officer from the state of madhya pradesh has demanded that people who video the killing of Muslims in india also film the kashmir files. The film 'The kashmir Files,' which was released on march 11, depicts the 1990s onslaught on Hindu Pandits in kashmir, as well as the migration of Pandits in response to extremist warnings. Anupaam Kher, mithun Chakraborty, Pallaavi Josh, and Darshhan Kumar star in the film, which was written and directed by Vivvek Agnihotri and produced by Zee Studios. The prime minister praised the film and urged all bjp lawmakers to see it. Opposition parties, notably the Congress, have slammed the Prime Minister's comments in favour of the movie.

The film has been exempted from the entertainment tax in BJP-ruled states such as madhya pradesh and Gujarat, sparking debate among political parties. The film garnered a mixed bag of positive and bad reviews. Niaskan, the chief minister of madhya pradesh, has also spoken out about the film "The kashmir Files."

IAS Niaz Khan stated, "They should be allowed to live in peace and dignity in Kashmir. The producer should also prepare a film to demonstrate that many Muslims have been slaughtered in a variety of states. Muslims are human beings, not insects. Are citizens of the United States. I'm considering writing a book to demonstrate how Muslims are killed on a regular basis. As a result, some producers may be interested in making a film similar to kashmir Files. indians will be able to put the agony and suffering of minorities to the forefront in this way."
