Time for PM Modi to Listen to CM Stalin?
The Western Ghats, according to the Chief minister, are a worldwide biodiversity hotspot and a centre for endemic flora and fauna, and the eastern portion of the region is linked to the Meghamalai tiger Reserve in Srivilliputhur, where tigers coexist with other animals, birds, reptiles, and mammals. Most of them are commenting that this is not ADMK's EPS Govt to nod to anything PM Modi says and now it's time for Modi to listen.
He also said that the area comprises large catchment areas like the Chambai and Kotagodi areas, as well as tiny streams that link to the Kotakudi river through the Bodi highlands. It combines with the Periyar before flowing into the Vaigai Dam, supplying water to five districts in tamil Nadu for drinking and agricultural reasons, according to the Chief minister, and this catchment region is the people's livelihood.
In this regard, a delegation of tamil Nadu ministers met with Union minister of industry and Commerce piyush goyal on september 27, 2021, and requested that the proposal of establishing an indian Neutrino Laboratory be abandoned due to the serious ramifications of the project. In his letter, he also requested that the responsible authorities provide adequate advise on whether or not the establishment of a neutrino laboratory in tamil Nadu should be abandoned.
