Haryana follows the Odd-Even method to tackle air Pollution!!!
By following the odd-even method, the haryana government is hoping to see changes in air pollution and also in road traffics. In delhi, there are alarming levels of air pollution and also in the National capital Region(NCR). The Odd-Even rule was first imposed by Arvind Kejriwal, cm of delhi to cope with the air pollution. It is nothing but a version of the odd-even rationing system in the US which happened in 1979 to overcome the gasoline crisis. According to this scheme, Alternative days are given for the vehicles with the number plates ending even and odd numbers. For example, vehicles with a number plate ending with an odd number have been allowed on the roads on odd days, and ending with even numbers are allowed on even days. By following this, the pollution may decrease to a small amount in that place.
