Mullai Periyaar Dam Issue - Tamil Nadu MP Missing..!
The madurai mp who declared he would endeavour to boost the Mullaiperiyaru dam's water level to 152 feet has vanished. Cellur K. Raju, a former minister, remarked during an AIADMK rally that he had not even issued a statement criticising the kerala and tamil Nadu governments. Today, AIADMK rallies were held in madurai, Dindigul, Theni, Sivagangai, and Ramanathapuram, protesting the kerala government's violation of the Mullaiperiyaru issue and the DMK government's backing for it. Separate demonstrations for the Bailiff, Western, and Eastern Districts were held in Madurai.
In the Munic Road area, a demonstration was held on favor of madurai AIADMK. The AIADMK screamed anti-DMK and anti-Kerala government chants. Sellur Rahu who addressed the crowd said, "The water level of the Mullai Periyar Dam was raised from 132 feet to 136 feet by the late chief minister MGR. It was then raised to 142 feet by Jayalalithaa. The DMK government, on the other hand, has today handed tamil Nadu's rights to the kerala government, which the AIADMK had fought for. The bjp is also speaking out on the Mullaiperiyaru dam. However, the Communist party is continually fighting for rights.
